Yarn Along: Hat for Mama!

I made myself a hat to match my daughters' hats. The hat pattern is different, but the Rose is the same. I had to decrease the size of the top of the hat because the yarn that I used was a little thick. It came out beautifully, with no seam, and I am so pleased. It's a really fun hat to wear!

Lately, I have been reading some more Willa Cather. I read Lucy Gayheart, which was very well done but a bit dark. A little heavy on the justice without a lot of mercy.  I also read The Professor's House, which I loved. The professor is true to his title, quirky and lovable. Cather is certainly on my favorites list for authors!

I am sharing this at Small Things and Frontier Dreams.
