Yarn Along: Emma, Advent, and Ornaments

Thanks, Ginny, for hosting!

I just finished reading Emma. Jane Austen supposedly said that no one but her liked Emma as person, but I do. In fact, I love her! Yes, she is a bit spoiled, and a bit of a busy body but she has a great heart and she is so funny. I think it's great that the whole novel expresses her regard for Mr. Knightley and not until the end did I realize that, wonderful as he is, I had been seeing him through Emma's loving eyes the whole time.

The second book is a series on the liturgical year that we just got for our family. It is the series that St. Therese's family read to celebrate the liturgical year and is magnificent!

I am crocheting some ornaments for our family and to give as gifts. Above is a snowflake and a dogwood flower from the patterns in the back of the Crochet Stitch Bible. I have some more snowflakes and some finishing left to do.

I also just finished blocking a Fair Isle Sweater for my littlest one. She wore it out today!
